Son kills father in Rasuwa

KATHMANDU: Last night in North Rasuwa, a son battered and murdered his father.

According to Subash Budhathoki, the Chief of District Police, Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-5, Sanubharkhu, Gopal Tamang, approximately 40 years old, has been arrested for the initial investigation into the homicide of his father, 65-year-old Chewaang Tamang, who was beaten with a stick in the head.

According to the authorities, he beat his father as he was inebriated, and the elderly man died on the scene.

According to police, the deceased was transferred to Rasuwa Hospital for inspection, the son was arrested, and additional investigation is proceeding.
