KATHMANDU: The staging of ‘Kaal’ has begun at Aarohan Gurukul, Kunj Theatre in Thapagaon.
The play’s plot, which depicts both death and the cycle of time, is centered on societal concerns.
The play calls for psychiatric therapy for persons who suffer from psychological disease as a result of natural and societal reasons, such as economic hardship in today’s society, and who feel themselves weak and chose the path of suicide.
The play is presented in the style of a theatrical genre, in which it is said that a person who chooses death must find death. As a result, everyone will be able to find their place in the game.
The play was hypothesis, written and directed by Rambhajan Kamat.
Subhash Timalsina is the assistant director of the play, which is the vision of Rajkumar Pudasaini. Sunil Pokharel, Praveen Khatiwada, Chandra Nepali, Neeta Rai, Keshav Shahi, Aashish Ghimire, Arjun Siwakoti, Sandesh Karki, Roshan Chand, Salina Chhetri Surbhi Kamat acted in the play.
The sound and music concept in the play is by Utsav Budhathoki and the costumes are by Neeta Rai and Salina Chhetri.
Hum BC made the stage, Sajan Thapa Magar did the poster sketch, Subas Timalsina managed the stage, and Sudarshan Pulami designed the poster-brochure.
The play will be staged till Magsir 30 (Dec 16).
