Five held for gambling

KATHMANDU: The police arrested 37-year-old Geeta Lama and four others on Wednesday night for engaging in gambling at a house in Pokhara Metropolitan City-9 Shivatol.

Acting on information about the gambling activities in the house, the police apprehended them, seizing 29,340 rupees in cash and one deck of cards.

The authorities are currently conducting essential investigations into the matter.
