Child dies of cold in Jajarkot

KATHMANDU: A child has died due to cold in Kushe Rural Municipality.

Rakshya, the three-year-old daughter of Sunil Wadi of Rural Municipality-1 Syagri, died of a cold on Wednesday morning, according to Village Chair Harichandra Basnet.

He stated that the child died while being transported to the hospital in Matela, Chedagad, after being diagnosed with pneumonia during an examination at the local health facility.

Chair Basnet stated that the family of the deceased child was living in a tarpaulin following the earthquake on Kartik 17 (Nov 3) damaged their house.
