4 killed in coal mine accident in Poland
The cause of the accident is being investigated by prosecutors and the Supreme Mining Authority.

KATHMANDU: Four people were killed in a coal mine accident in southern Poland.
According to the State Mining Authority (WUG), four workers were killed in a coal mine disaster in the southern Polish district of Silesia.
The collapsed occurred about 3:30 p.m.
Due to an unplanned collapse while filling the pipeline with water, three persons perished on the scene.
Another individual died as a result of the therapy.
The mine’s owner, Toron Widobisi Company, published a statement confirming the deaths of four workers and stating that the rescue effort was concluded at 8:35 p.m.
Backfill pipelines are used to fill voids created by coal mining with a mixture of water with non-toxic solids including ash, sand and inert rock, etc.
