Prachanda met President before departing to UAE

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ met today.

Prime Minister Prachanda reached at Rastrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas on Wednesday afternoon before departing for the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) to attend the United Nations Conference on Climate Change COP-28.

During the meeting, President Paudel suggested to Prime Minister Dahal that the conference prioritize climate change, mountain rescue, and mountain conservation in order to attract the attention of the international community and create a situation in which Nepal would benefit, according to Kiran Pokharel, the President’s press advisor.
