‘Sticker Visa’ mandatory for visiting Indonesia

KATHMANDU: The Embassy of Indonesia in Dhaka visiting Nepal has made sticker visa mandatory when entering Indonesia from Nepal.
The embassy stated that the new procedures were developed due to difficulties faced while processing e-visas through multiple agencies in Indonesia and Nepal.
The embassy has issued a circular suggesting that all visa-related tasks be conducted through the commercial section of the Indonesian Embassy in Kathmandu.
Evaluating the errors in the e-visa application process, the embassy has also requested not to apply for e-visa when departing from Nepal to Indonesia.
Chandra Prasad Dhakal, the unpaid consul of Indonesia for Nepal, said that initiatives are being taken for visa on arrival when traveling from Nepal to Indonesia, and informed that the embassy and the Indonesian government have implemented a new system to further facilitate the existing process for the convenience of Nepali citizens.
