Joint Secretary Sarita Dawadi promoted to Secretary

KATHMANDU: Sarita Dawadi, Joint Secretary to the Government of Nepal, has been promoted to Secretary.

Rekha Sharma, Minister of Information and Communication Technology, announced that the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday morning resolved to promote Joint Secretary Dawadi to Secretary and designate her Education Secretary.

The promotion recommendation committee meeting on Tuesday suggested the names of three people for one post.

In which Dawadi was ranked first, Dinanath Mishra was second and Ram Prasad Ghimire was recommended as third.

Previously, Dawadi worked for the Ministry of Energy.
