Former SP held for attempted rape on his daughter
Last Ashoj, the 22-year-old daughter filed a complaint at the District Police Office Kailali saying that Panta a 50-year-old retired SP of Dhangadhi had tried forced rape.
KATHMANDU: An ex-policeman i.e. retired SP of Dhangadhi who tried to rape his own daughter has been arrested.
Last Ashoj, the 22-year-old daughter filed a complaint at the District Police Office Kailali saying that Panta a 50-year-old retired SP of Dhangadhi had tried forced rape.
The District Police Office in Kailali said that he was apprehended a few days ago who was absconding following the incident.
He is being scrutinized by the court after the deadline was extended.
The girl had returned to Dhangadhi (home) after studying and working in Kathmandu.
Panta attemped to rape his daughter who had came home.
Despite the fact that the incident occurred on Ashoj 13 (Sept 30), the daughter filed a complaint against her father on Ashoj 19 (Oct 6), alleging attempted rape.
