ASI who shot constable suspended in Mahottari

KATHMANDU: ASI who shot his own policeman in Mahottari has been suspended.

The Madhesh State Police Office Janakpur has suspended Rameshwar Prasad Yadav, alias ASI Bacha Yadav, in command of Halkhori Police Station in Mahottari.

Asai Yadav was suspended by the state police commander, DIG Janak Bhattarai, on Sunday afternoon, according to the office’s spokesperson, SSP Pravin Pokharel.

ASI Bacha Yadav, Assistant Police Inspector in charge of Maruwahi Police Station, shot police constable Rajesh Sah on Kartik 30 (Nov 16) at 11 p.m.

He tried to hide the incident by shooting Sah, the soldier who demanded the money collected from the wanderer.
