Morang to organize Trade Expo
Organizing a news conference in Biratnagar on Monday, the Association said that the Trade Expo would start on Dec 22, 2023 and conclude on Jan 1, 2024.
KATHMANDU: The Morang Industry Association is going to organize a 10-day-long trade show in Biratnagar.
The Expo is expected to boost the country’s economic activities, according to the association.
Organizing a news conference in Biratnagar on Monday, the association said that the trade exhibition would start on Dec 22, 2023, and conclude on Jan 1, 2024.
Chairman of the Association, Nabin Rijal, stated the Trade Expo would be instrumental in promoting agricultural, touristic, and industrial products.
Rijal stated that goods and producers from neighbouring countries, India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, will also participate in the Trade Expo, where a total of 250 stalls will be kept.
It is said that the agricultural goods and productions of the small and cottage industries from Sudurpaschim Province and remote areas would get the stalls for free.
The Trade Expo is expected to expand national and international markets for inter state goods and services, establish business relations among national and international investors, and promote tourist destinations through promotional events.
The organizer has expected that the Trade Expo will record a business of Rs 150 million and the arrival of some 400,000 visitors from Nepal and India.
The Association has been organizing such a trade show since 2053 BS.
