Urlabari fire incident: another victim dies

KATHMANDU: Another individual injured in the fire incident on the day of Laxmi Puja in Urlabari, Morang, on Kartik 26 (Nov 12), has also passed away.

Rukum Bahadur Karki, 68, of Urlabari-7, died on Saturday morning during treatment at Kathmandu’s Kirtipur Burn Hospital.

With this, the death toll has risen to four.

28 persons were injured, including four police officers who rushed to put out the fire at Urlabari-7 Ithara Road Deepak Karki’s gold business.

Kumar Tamang, 42, of Urlabari 7, as well as Hemkumar Dahal, 49, and Tapan Pandit, 43, of the same location, have already died in the same incident.
