KATHMANDU: Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar has been honored for paying the highest income tax in the education and health sectors.

Nobel Medical College was recognized in an award program for taxpayers who paid the most tax in 16 different categories during the fiscal years 2079 and 2080.

Nobel was named the best taxpayer in the health and education sectors this year.

In a function held by the Internal Revenue Department to commemorate the completion of National Tax Day 2080, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahatala honored Dr Khagendra Prasad (KP) Sharma on behalf of Nobel Medical College.

It has been honored for the fifth time.

Nobel Medical College, established in Kanchanbari, Biratnagar in 2061, is regarded as outstanding in terms of quality care and medical education.

Nobel has added the acknowledgment of a significant organization that provides more to the state by repeatedly becoming the country’s finest taxpayer. Nobel has always provided great care to patients from many states of India, including Koshi State.
