KATHMANDU: Mahesh Basnet, the CPN-UML leader, and Durga Prasai, a medical professional, will be unable to perform at Maitighar Mandala.

According to Ravindra Prasad Acharya, Assistant Chief District Officer of Kathmandu District Administration Office, both parties will not be permitted to hold programs at that location, and separate locations will be designated for discussion.
Acharya said, there are courts and hospitals nearby. It is a location where ambulances transport patients. Any event to take place in that vicinity that could be adversely affected by it will not be allowed. If there are illegal acts, action will be taken.
After Prasai and Basnet prepared to hold a program on the same day, the administration is going to tighten up security arrangements.
Lately, they have been openly interrupting each other. The administration has also warned that they will take action if they try to force the program.
