Rukum West jeep accident: 22 injured

KATHMANDU: A total of 22 individuals sustained injuries in a jeep accident in Goirijyula, Chaurjahari Municipality-8, Rukum West district.

The accident injured all 27 people on board the jeep with the registration number Lu 1 Ja 2297.

All the injured individuals are currently receiving medical attention at Chaurjahari Hospital, with seven reported to be in serious condition.

According to DSP Namaraj Bhattarai from the district police office, Rukum Wesst, the jeep was en route from Khola Gaun in Chaurjahari-10 to Musikot, the district headquarters of Rukum Paschim.

The jeep fell about 250 meters below the road on the Bheri river bank.
