Parliamentary committee seeks AIG Shyamalal Gyawali’s DOB from Home Ministry
The House of Representatives' State Order and Good Governance Committee has requested documents related to the date of birth from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
KATHMANDU: The State Order and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives has asked for documents related to the date of birth of Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Nepal Police Shyamlal Gyawali.
The House of Representatives’ State Order and Good Governance Committee has requested documents related to the date of birth from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Suraj Kumar Dura, Committee Secretary, stated that some complaints have been received regarding Gyawali’s date of birth.
The committee requested documents related to AIG Gyawali’s date of birth from the Ministry of Home Affairs after the committee’s chair, Ramhari Khatiwada, instructed them to obtain the documents based on the complaint.
The complainant filed a complaint alleging that Gyawali entered the service by changing the date of birth on his citizenship and educational qualification certificates.
