2 terrorists killed in military operation in NW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based military operation in Pakistan’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Pakistani military has said in a statement.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said Wednesday that the operation was conducted in the Ursoon area of Chitral district of the province to clear a hideout of terrorists.

During the operation, two terrorists were killed while four others were seriously wounded in an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists, the ISPR statement said.
