Seventeen hospitalized in bus accident in Kalutara, Sri Lanka

KATHMANDU: A bus accident in Kalutara, located in Sri Lanka’s Western Province, led to the hospitalization of seventeen individuals on Wednesday.

According to the police, the incident transpired when the bus driver swerved to avoid a collision with a three-wheeler.

At the time of the accident, there were approximately 60 passengers on board the bus, as confirmed by the police.

The injured individuals have been admitted to nearby hospitals, with some of them in critical condition, as reported by law enforcement authorities.
