NRB disbursing gold & silver coins

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has begun selling gold and silver coins in Tihar.

Since Sunday, the Nepal Rastra Bank mint branch has been selling silver and silver coins.

According to the central bank, silver coins weighing 10 grams and 25 grams were available, as were gold coins weighing 10 grams, 5 grams, and 2.5 grams.

The price of silver coins is Rs 1,600 for 10 grams and Rs 4,000 for 25 kilos. The 10 gram silver coin is inscribed with images of Lakshmi, Ganesha, Gajalakshmi, and cows.

Gold costs 102,368 rupees for 10 grams, 51,183 rupees for 5 grams, and 25,592 rupees for 2.5 grams, according to the central bank. The value of gold coins fluctuates on a daily basis.
