Bharati Shah visits SC after getting justice (photos)

KATHMANDU: Bharti Manandhar has approached the Supreme Court after the Supreme Court ordered to quash the decision to release Yograj Dhakal (Regal).

In addition, with the Supreme Court’s ruling to annul the decision to release Yograj Dhakal (Regal), Bharati Manandhar ended her hunger strike by accepting a glass of juice from a supporter in Maitighar Mandala.

On Thursday, a judicial bench comprising Permanent Chief Justice Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada, Sapana Pradhan Malla, and Kumar Chudal issued an order for the immediate arrest of Regal.

Regal has been arrested in Nepalgunj following the Supreme Court’s order.

Chief Superintendent of Police Subash Chandra Bohara, from the District Police Office Banke, said Regal was arrested in Nepalgunj.
