Arna Beer to give Rs 1,000 for each run in T20 World Cup Qualifiers
The Asian Qualifiers for the T20 World Cup are set to commence today, starting on Monday in Kathmandu.
KATHMANDU: Arna Beer has raised the stakes by offering enticing cash prizes to Nepali cricket stars participating in the Asian Qualifiers of the T20 World Cup.
The brewery giant will grant Rs 1,000 for each run scored by Nepali players, Rs 10,000 for every four, and a substantial Rs 20,000 for clearing the boundary with a six during the T20 World Cup Qualifiers.
On the bowling front, Arna Beer has introduced a rewarding system, with Rs 1,000 for every dot ball, Rs 10,000 for a maiden over, and a significant Rs 25,000 for each wicket taken by the bowlers.
This move follows their earlier recognition and rewards for players who excelled by hitting fours, sixes, and taking wickets during the Asia Cup cricket tournament held last Bhadra.
The Asian Qualifiers for the T20 World Cup are set to commence today, starting on Monday in Kathmandu.
Nepal’s first match will be against Singapore, scheduled for Monday morning at 9 AM at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
