Nepal Telecom enables mass Dashain greetings via SMS service
Under this service, messages (SMS) can be sent to up to 10,000 mobile numbers by displaying one's own mobile number.
KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom can send Dashain greetings to relatives and friends all at once.
According to the company, to send this type of mass message, customers have to use the service of Nepal Telecom.
Under this service, messages (SMS) can be sent to up to 10,000 mobile numbers by displaying one’s own mobile number.
According to this, a group SMS service that may deliver messages to up to 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 mobile numbers is available.
Sending 2000 SMS within two days in a bundle that may be sent at 50 paise each message costs only 1000 rupees, according to the firm.
5000 SMS can be sent within 5 days for 2500 rupees. Similarly, one can send 10,000 SMS within 10 days for 5,000 rupees.
It is said that the charges for this facility, which can be used only within Nepal Telecom’s network, do not include any tax.
In order to use this service, it is said that the SIM card of the company in the user’s name must be used and the person sending the message should be fully responsible for the words and expressions of the message.
