Ganeshman Singh National Tennis by next month
The committee's Rajan Khatri stated that there are a total of 9 lakh 5 thousand cash prizes for elders and veterans.
KATHMANDU: The 3rd Bir Ganeshman Singh National Tennis Tournament will begin on November 18th, under the collaboration of the Bir Ganeshman Singh Foundation and the Bir Ganeshman Singh Sports Committee.
Sanjeev Tuladhar, the competition’s organizer, announced during a press conference on Friday that there will be 23 competitions in senior, veteran, and junior categories. There will be four senior matches, seven veteran matches, and twelve junior matches.
The committee’s Rajan Khatri stated that there are a total of 9 lakh 5 thousand cash prizes for elders and veterans.
According to him, the prize money has been enhanced by Rs. 2 lakh 5000 over the previous event. Juniors will be given a gift basket as a reward.
It is said that about 35 lakh rupees will be spent to conduct the tournament with the technical support of Nepal Tennis Association.
The matches of the eight-day tournament will be held at the Tennis Complex in Satdobato.
