KATHMAN DU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha’s health certificate has been released,
The ‘Medical Certificate’ was issued by the ‘Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Beijing’ on Thursday afternoon.
Shrestha suffered a “acute myocardial infarction,” according to the hospital, and an emergency coronary angiography found an obstruction in the “obtuse marginal branch (OM).”
The hospital also stated that a significant’stenosis’ was discovered in his heart’s left artery and that a stent was promptly put to reduce it.
According to the hospital, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha is being monitored by doctors in the medical ICU and his health is stable.
High officials of the Chinese government and the party have instructed the hospital administration to adopt the highest technology and pay special attention to his treatment.
