Russia sends 27 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza
US President Joe Biden announced a deal on Wednesday to allow much-needed humanitarian goods to be transported to war-torn Gaza.

KATHMANDU: Russia has sent 27 tons of humanitarian supplies from Egypt for civilians in Gaza on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Emergencies of Moscow.
“A special plane flown from Ramenskoye Airport near Moscow for El-Arish, Egypt, to deliver Russian humanitarian supplies to the Egyptian Red Crescent,” said Deputy Minister Ilya Denisov in a statement. Human ingredients, according to him, include wheat, sugar, rice, and pasta.

After face-to-face meetings in Israel and lengthy phone talks with Egypt, Biden announced a limited number of trucks will be permitted to transit Rafah from Egypt into Gaza.
