KATHMANDU: The first phase of Diwakar Bhattarai’s film ‘Mayabi’ has wrapped.
The first 30 days of filming were done in Mustang and Pokhara.

Director Bhattarai, who has completed the first phase of filming, is quite excited. He stated that this film will be special for him as well and will propel hero Paul Shah’s career to new heights.
Raj Katuwal and Chandra Pant have invested in the film. Raju Parajuli, Rama Prasai and Namita Jha are the co-producers of the film.
The film’s co-producers are Raju Parajuli, Rama Prasai, and Navneet Jha. The film’s executive producers are Pravin Bhattarai and Karan Singh, while its associate producer is Ambarish Kashyap.
Paul Shah, Deepika Prasai, Sushil Sitaula, Samim Khan, Karisma Shrestha, Prashant Tamrakar, Laxmi Giri, Ravi Dangol, Rajaram Poudel, Anshu Maharjan, Rama Prasai and other actors are in the lead roles in this film.
Produced under the banner of Creative Cine Arts, this film has DOP by Raju Thapa, music by SD Yogi, lyrics by Ram Aviral. Rajkumar Karki is the line producer of the film.
The film’s release date has yet to be determined.
The production side has stated that the second schedule of filming would begin after Dashain. This film chronicles the story of Pokhara.
