Tri-nation T20 series: Nepal fielding against UAE after winning the toss

KATHMANDU: Nepal won the toss against UAE in the triangular T20 series.

Nepal’s captain, Rohit Paudel, chose to field first after winning the toss at the Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground.

In addition, the Mulpani ground has become the 190th cricket ground in the world to be awarded T20 recognition.

Nepal’s Shyam (Mausam) Dhakal is making his debut in today’s match. He got the opportunity after Sandeep Lamichhane withdrew his name from the competition.

Although he has been training with Nepal’s national team for the past 8 months, he did not get a chance to make his debut.

All the matches of the league stage of the series will be played at Mulpani Cricket Ground and the final match will be played at the TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
