KATHMANDU: Kedar Karki, the recently appointed Chief Minister of Koshi, has stated that the state’s political situation has been addressed since the formation of the administration under his leadership.

Speaking to reporters after taking the oath of office and secrecy before the state chief Parshuram Khapung on Sunday, he said that the political crisis has been resolved.

‘Karki has stopped the fear of whether the state assembly will be dissolved, whether there will be a mid-term, whether people will have to line up again and go to the polls, whether the state’s revenues would be squandered somewhere in the middle,’ he said.

He said that not only material development but also human development will be prioritized.

Chief Minister Karki also said that social and cultural issues in the state will be resolved through dialogue.
