HURPES protests at Singha Durbar, demanding Lalita Niwas Land Scam investigation (photos)

KATHMANDU: The Human Rights and Peace Society (HURPES) protested in front of the Singha Durbar on Wednesday.

They demonstrated with different slogans like, “Why didn’t the investigation in accordance with the order of the court in the Lalita Niwas land scam be prosecuted?” Return property of civilians seized by Maoists during the conflict

The police arrested dozens of protesters when they tried to enter the restricted area during the demonstration.
