KATHMANDU: The Israeli prime minister and opposition leaders have agreed to form an emergency unity government.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader and former defense minister Benny Gantz have agreed to form an emergency unity government and a war cabinet.

The Council of War Ministers will have three members.

Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Gantz.

Netanyahu agreed not to advance any bills related to the ongoing conflict with Gaza’s ruling faction, Hamas.
