Bipin Joshi hailed as hero for saving lives in Israeli attack, urgent plea for his safety

KATHMANDU: According to Bibusha Adhikari, a Nepali student who returned from Israel, Nepali student Bipin Joshi picked up the grenade fired by Hamas and hurled it there.

If Joshi had not thrown the missile that landed in the room where 17 Nepalis were sitting, none of them would have lived. However, Bipin Joshi is currently uncontactable.

‘I implore the government to save the real hero who saved friends,’ Bibusha added.

She claimed that six persons managed escaped from the place where Bipin was residing, while the rest of the Nepalese students died.

The government rescued 254 Nepali citizens from Israel on Thursday night and brought them to Nepal this morning.

Speaking at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) this morning after the rescue, Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud informed that out of 533 people who wanted to return to Nepal from Israel, 254 people have been brought to Nepal and others will be brought to Nepal soon.
