KATHMANDU: Prakash Man Singh, a Nepali Congress MP, drew the government’s attention to the issue that if Israel attacked without alerting the public, Hamas threatened to kill those under occupation.

MP Singh raised the attention of the Nepalese government during a meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee on Tuesday.

He suggested that the Nepal government raise attention to the serious situation in Israel on a regular basis. He urged Nepalis who wished to return to their homeland to make the required preparations and return as soon as feasible.

He advised Nepalese to come home as soon as possible because the war was going to worsen.

He said, ‘Especially at a time when the nation is drowning in grief, we have to hear the sad news of the Nepali people in Israel due to the June attack on the Ashoj 20 (Oct 7). This is due to the fact that the government has shown leadership on behalf of the government, the actions to be taken by this government, from the need to mobilize those structures and agencies in the event of such a crisis, everything is being coordinated. He informed about the situation of Nepalis in Israel. When the war has already started, the minister has already said on behalf of the government. For those who want to return to Nepal, the embassy there is also working on alertness. Discussions are being held with the Israeli government and the ambassador in Nepal. Since it is sensitive, it is better if it is informed from time to time. Tel Aviv Airport is in operation, he said. The Nepalese coming back from there should be brought quickly. Hamas is threatening to kill those in occupation if Israel attacks without informing the public. You should be aware of it. What is the government thinking about this?

Leaader Singh said that further instructions should be given to the embassy in Israel.
