Nomination of 4 people for UML Sudurpaschim Chair

KATHMANDU: Four candidates have been nominated for the chairmanship of CPN (UML) Sudurpaschim State.
Today (Tuesday) from 5pm in the evening, elections are being held to select the leadership of UML Sudurpaschim State.
UML Sudurpaschim State session is going on since last Sunday in Dhangadhi.
Former District Coordination Committee Chair Krishna Prasad Jaisi, Bharat Bahadur Saud, and Bachan Bahadur Singh, as well as outgoing state committee vice chair Kamal Timilsina, have all filed for state president.
Timalsina, Jaisi, and Saud are from Acham, while Singh represents the UML in Kanchanpur.
Padam Pal, Chief Electoral Officer, announced that nomination registration will take place today from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The election committee has set a deadline of 12.30 p.m. to 2 a.m. to return nominations. Following that, the election committee is set to release the final list of candidates and begin voting at 5 p.m.
