KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli did not participate in the opening of the first Gandaki State session of CPN-UML, which started in Pokhara Amarsingh from today.

General Secretary Shankar Pokharel addressed the convention when Oli failed to travel Pokhara.
Pokharel stated that despite arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport to travel to Pokhara, Chair Oli had to return because the flight was delayed.
The presentation began one hour later than planned since the president and general secretary were not there.
Following that, while waiting for General Secretary Pokharel, a musical program was organized.
The original songs and dances of different castes who came to see the tableau were depicted in that sequence.
