Fatal dengue case claims life in Dang

KATHMANDU: A man has succumbed to the dengue infection at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Ghorahi, Dang.

Nishan Bhattarai, the Academy’s information officer, verified that Yagya Bahadur Dangi, 51, of Rolpa’s Madi Rural Municipality-2, Gharti Gaun, died of the disease.

Dangi, who had been suffering from health problems for few days, was admitted to the Academy on Sunday evening for treatment.

Dangi died this morning amid treatment, according to Information Officer Bhattarai.

He worked as a teacher at Gharti Gaun’s Shree Krishna Secondary School.
