On his appearance, the district police complex in Kathmandu released him yesterday.
The KC’s deadline was extended by three days by the district court in Kathmandu.
The deadline passed today because it was computed from Friday, thus the police left it.
There is a provision that allows the police officer to leave the evidence in the presence of the accused if there is no way to delete it.
According to SP Kumodh Dhungel, he was discharged under the same provision.
Anmol KC drove away from the police station after being released.
The arrest was the result of a complaint filed by producer Supriya Katuwal regarding a financial transaction issue with the film “Ramayan.” On Friday evening, Anmol KC was caught in Sanga.
During police questioning, Anmol KC stated that he attempted to repay 10 lakhs, but the producer of ‘Ramayan’ refused.
He also indicated his unwillingness to engage in the project, citing a lack of understanding of the screenplay.
