Anmol KC taken to Court from Kathmandu Police Complex

KATHMANDU: Actor Anmol KC, who was arrested on charges of ‘criminal treachery’, was seen at the District Police Complex, Teku.

KC, who was arrested from Kavrepalanchowk on Friday evening, is about to be brought to the district court in Kathmandu.

After his arrest, KC, who refused to stay in custody, was admitted to Chirayu Hospital in Maharajgunj.

KC has revealed to the police that the producer told him to go to Afghanistan to shoot the film.

However, he said that director-producer Sudarshan Thapa’s banner, Sudarshan Films, is not ready to take back the money in his account if he does not like the script of the movie ‘Ramayan’.

Actor KC was arrested by the police after the producer filed a complaint against him for not coming to the shooting even after receiving 10 lakh rupees for acting in the film ‘Ramayan’.

The producer has claimed to the police that 65 technicians have been paid and that amount has already been spent.
