Anmol KC being taken to court for extension

KATHMANDU: Actor Anmol KC is being produced by the police in the Kathmandu District Court on Sunday.

SSP Kumod Dhungel of District Police Complex Kathmandu said that he who was arrested in the transaction dispute of the film ‘Ramayan’ is going to be produced in the court for an extension.

Sudarshan Thapa Productions filed a police case against actor KC, accusing him of criminal betrayal.

Police detained KC in Sanga, Bhaktapur on Friday evening.

According to the producer of the Ramayan film, actor KC declined to appear in the film despite being paid ten lakh rupees.

KC, on the other hand, stated that while he accepted the money, he did not agree in writing.

Due to health issues, he was admitted to KC Chirayu Hospital following his arrest.

KC obtained an injunction order against the arrest from the Patan High Court a few days ago.
