Samarpan Lama lifts trophy of ‘India’s Best Dancer’ Season-3

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Samarpan Lama triumphs as winner of ‘India’s Best Dancer’ Season 3.
He won by receiving the most points from the judges and the public in the previous week.
He was awarded the ‘India’s Best Dancer Trophy’ and a monetary prize of 1.5 million baht in the grand finale, which aired on Saturday night. His dance director, Bhawana Khanduja, was also honored with a Rs 5 lakh cash reward.
Samarpan, a resident of Ratnanagar Municipality-13 Bhim Bahadur Chowk in Chitwan, has won a dancing competition hosted by Sony Channel.
“It feels surreal,” Samarpan stated after receiving the prize. I used to watch reality shows and fantasize of being on one of them eventually. But I never expected to win my first dancing reality program; it’s a true dream come true for me. When I was chosen in the Behtareen 13 after Aniket Chauhan, that was a game-changing event for me. “I never imagined I’d get this far in the show.”
“Through the course of this competition, I tasted both success and failure,” he added. Failure is also crucial since it teaches you a lot, which helped me give my all and push harder. As a result of that, I am now a better dancer. Words cannot express how much India’s Best Dancer Season 3 means to me; it will always have a special place in my heart. Finally, I want to thank My People for believing in and supporting me. “My victory is also their victory.”
Siwanshu Soni, Vipul Kandpal, Aniket Chauhan, and Anjali Mamgai competed with zeal in the previous five competitions.
In the final battle in the grand finale, Anjali Mamgai won bonus 10 points and she managed to come second on the basis of the last points and public votes.
Similarly, Shivanshu Soni was third, Aniket Chauhan was fourth and Vipul Kandpal was fifth.
