Actor Anmol KC hospitalized at Chirayu

KATHMANDU: Anmol KC, an actor, has been admitted to the hospital.

Actor KC, who was arrested on Friday after the producer of the film ‘Ramayana’ filed a complaint over a financial transaction issue, was brought to Chirayu Hospital last night.

The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office detained actor KC from Sanga on Friday.

Chandrakala Katwal Thapa filed a complaint against Anmol, alleging that she was offered a million rupees to appear in the film Ramayana but refused to sign the contract.

Following receipt of the report, all parties were summoned to discuss the event, but when Anmol failed to appear, the Crime Investigation Office arrested him and turned him over to the police circle on Friday.

After being taken to the circle, Anmol said that he had chest pain and difficulty in breathing, and he was taken to the hospital, said SP Kumodh Dhungel, spokesperson of District Police Complex, Kathmandu.

As today is a holiday, the action against the complaint filed against Anmol will start from Sunday.
