KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank Limited has opened its 266th branch in Morang. The 266th branch of Nabil Bank, the country’s premier bank, has opened in Purwanchal University Campus in Gothgaun, Sundar Haraicha Municipality in Morang district.

According to Nabil Bank, a branch in Gothgaun has been expanded as part of a banking access and service expansion strategy.

The Gothgaun branch was launched by principal guest Prof Yadav Raj Koirala, Vice Chancellor of Purwanchal University, Ananta Paudyal, Director of Nabil Bank, and Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana, principal Executive Officer.

Nilamani Pokharel, registrar of Purwanchal University, Rakesh Surana, chair of industrial association Morang, Bhupendra Pandey, deputy chief executive officer of Nabil Bank, and other high-ranking bank executives attended the session.

According to Paudyal, director of Nabil Bank, the branch was constructed with the goal of giving convenient financial access to Purwanchal University and the Gothgaon area, as well as enhancing excellent banking services.

During his remarks, chief guest Koirala expressed his delight at the establishment of Nabil Bank in this area.

He stated that the bank’s presence will be significant for financial access and economic acquisition activities at the local level. He stated that the expansion of banking services from Purwanchal University’s central office premises will help the university’s students, employees, and local communities.

Dhungana, Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Bank, in his welcome speech, said that the aim of the bank is not only to expand its business in Purwanchal University, Gothgaun, but also to work at the community level.
