Pregnant woman rescued by helicopter in Achham

KATHMANDU: A pregnant woman was rescued by aircraft in Achham.

Mangali Thapa, a 25-year-old inhabitant of Dhakari Rural Municipality-7, was rescued today by a Nepalese army aircraft.

Thapa was rescued under the Women Children and Presidential Women Rescue Program and taken to the State Hospital Surkhet for further treatment, according to Chief District Officer Sharad Kumar Pokharel.
