Shooting of ‘Mayavi’ commences in Mustang’s Nilgiri Himal region and Pokhara’s picturesque location

KATHMANDU: The shooting of the new Nepali film ‘Mayavi’, which is going to be directed by director Diwakar Bhattarai, has started.

The production team reached in Mustang a few days ago and began filming with all of the actors there.

Until a week ago, the production team was preparing to shoot the film and publicizing the roster of the principal actors and the production team.

Mustang filming has begun in the Nilgiri Himal region and the gorgeous spot of Pokhara, according to director Bhattarai, and the filming time will last 35 days.

In this film, the story of which is woven in the environment of Pokhara, Deepika Prasai is the main heroine and Paul Shah, Sushil Sitaula, model Samim Khan and Karishma Shrestha are the main characters in the main characters. Prashant Tamrakar and Rajaram Paudel and other actors will also act in the film.

Actor Paul is making his silver screen debut with this film after almost one and a half years, while Karishma is making her debut in a film with ‘Mayavi’ after a long time. Through this film, the winner of ‘Man Hunt International Nepal 2016’ Samim Khan is making his debut as a new hero.

This film, which is going to be produced under the banner of Creative Cine Arts, will have director Bhattarai’s own story. Bhattarai is returning to directing after almost four years.

The movie has Raju Thapa as DOP, music by SD Yogi and lyrics by Ram Aviral Bista.

Action and director Chandra Pant and actor Raj Katuwal are producers in the film. Raj is about to step into production with the film ‘Mayavi’.
