Nepal China Chamber & Wuxi CCPIT forge cooperative agreement
The Nepal China Chamber delegation, which is in China with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), signed a cooperation deal with Wuxi-CCPIT.

KATHMANDU: The Nepal China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Nepal China Chamber) and the same branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) have agreed to collaborate in the tourist and industry sectors.
The Nepal China Chamber delegation, which is in China with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), signed a cooperation deal with Wuxi-CCPIT.
Wuxi, China’s old industrial city, is regarded an industrial hub.
The agreement was signed on Tuesday by Rajeshkaji Shrestha, outgoing president of Nepal China Chamber, and Wang Sicong, vice chair of CCPIT.
Wuxi is a city in eastern China near Shanghai. Lingshan Park, which is located on the banks of one of China’s largest freshwater lakes, Taihu, also contains an 80-meter tall Buddha monument.
According to Shrestha, the departing president of the Nepal China Industry and Commerce Association, Chinese nationals from the same region are interested in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, and a big number of tourists from that region can be brought to Nepal.
According to Shrestha, under the terms of the agreement with the same CCPIT, Nepali businesspeople would be able to attend the trade show and invest in the development of Nepal’s tourist sector.
Similarly, the memorandum of understanding states that businesses will collaborate for bilateral visits as well as commercial and investment prospects.
According to the agreement, Wusi’s agricultural experience and technology will be brought to Nepal, and cooperation will be established to help to agricultural product exports.
According to the outgoing Chair, Shrestha, this arrangement was established with the intention of using the expertise of industrial economic development in the same area to benefit Nepal and bring in a huge number of tourists.
