Closed session of UML Bagmati State session begins, election today

KATHMANDU: The closed session of the CPN (UML) Bagmati State Convention has started.
UML leader Sher Bahadur Tamang has informed that the closed session has started on Tuesday at Pragya Bhawan in Kathmandu.
UML has formed a presiding committee under the chairmanship of Guru Baral to conduct the closed session.
The members of the chairmanship are Sher Bahadur Tamang, Devi Gyawali, Anand Prasad Pokharel, Gokul Prasad Baskota, Kamal Chaulagain, Rameshwar Phuyal, Krishna Bahadur Rai, Sushila Nepal, Parbat Gurung and Ratna Gurung.
Political report, organizational report, financial report will be presented in the closing session.
Similarly, it is said that a presentation will be made about what the next action plan will be in the closing session. It is said that a group discussion will be held on the report presented in the closed session from 2 o’clock.
After the discussions in the closed session, the new leadership selection process will proceed
According to the leaders, the election program for selecting the new leadership will be started from Tuesday evening itself.
Krishna Dahal of Makwanpur, Keshav Pandey of Nuwakot, Kailash Dhungel of Ramechhap and Krishna Bhakta Pokharel of Chitwan are claiming to be the president of Bagmati State Committee.
