Cabinet expansion preparations in Koshi, who are in the minister’s list?

KATHMANDU: The Koshi State government is expanding today. Hikmat Kumar Karki, the chief minister, is planning to extend his cabinet.

Chief Minister Karki has already discussed the expansion of the cabinet.

He intends to appoint four to five ministers today. According to reports, all UML ministers are ready to be included.

According to Article 168 (3) of the Constitution, the CPN-UML minority administration must receive a vote of confidence by Ashoj 20 (Oct 7).

Among the leaders who are likely to become ministers are Lila Ballabh Adhikari from Morang, Buddhi Kumar Rajbhandari from Solukhumbu, Ram Prasad Mehta from Sunsari and Niran Rai from Dhankuta.

Previously, Tilkumar Menyangbo, PK Rai, Ekraj Karki, Srijan Rai have become ministers from UML.
