KATHMANDU: The teachers demonstrated for the third day today against the school education bill registered by the government in the parliament secretariat.
Teachers who were protesting against the school education bill registered by the government in the parliament secretariat are humming songs, dancing in deuda in Maitighar Mandala.
They have asked to respect teachers through songs.
Expressing dissatisfaction with some of the provisions of the school education bill registered in the Federal Parliament, the Nepal Teachers’ Association started a protest centered on Kathmandu.
Similarly, community schools’ teaching and learning have become chaotic as a result of the teachers’ strike.
Teachers have stated that the Kathmandu-centered action that began last Wednesday will continue till the demand is met.
The federation has expressed its dissatisfaction with 18 distinct areas in the education bill that has been introduced in parliament.
In which there are demands such as transfer, promotion, demotion, and not living under the jurisdiction of the local municipality.
