NC summons a parliamentary party meeting to discuss the education bill
Today, the chief whip Ramesh Lekhak informed the central committee that the meeting of the parliamentary party was convened on Ashoj 8 and 9 (Sept 25 & 26).

KATHMANDU: A parliamentary party conference has been convened by the Nepali Congress. Congress has scheduled a parliamentary party meeting on Ashoj 8 and 9 (Sept 25 & 26).
Today, the chief whip Ramesh Lekhak informed the central committee that the meeting of the parliamentary party was convened on Ashoj 8 and 9 (Sept 25 & 26).
The conference is expected to focus on the education measure that was introduced in the House of Representatives.
Other current problems concerning the Parliament have also been added to the meeting’s agenda.
According to the top whip writer, the Congress is in favor of satisfying the teachers’ just demands. He further stated that the Congress will do all possible to meet their legitimate expectations.
In the Congress Central Committee meeting, the issue of teachers’ agitation was raised vigorously. In Thursday’s meeting, Deputy Chairman Purna Bahadur Khadka, who is also the Acting Prime Minister, said that the government is ready to meet all the demands put forward by the teachers’ movement up to the limits set by the constitution and the current economic situation of the country.
Chief Minister Gagan Thapa said that the teachers’ movement should be stopped and for that he should be prepared to amend the Education Bill.
Congress has called a parliamentary party meeting to discuss and decide on all these issues. The meeting will be held in New Baneshwor.
