Egypt approved a loan of 400 million US dollars from World Bank

KATHMANDU: Egypt has approved a loan of 400 million US dollars from the World Bank for logistics projects.
Egyptian PresidentAbdel Fattah El-Sisi announced on Thursday that he would take a $400 million loan.
The World Bank funding was obtained for this project in order to increase trade between Cairo and Alexandria.
The project will be used to renovate the railway sector, implement projects, include the private sector, develop the railway sector, and improve Egypt’s railway infrastructure.
