NAWA readies special program for differently-abled children

KATHMANDU: Nepal Army Wives Association (NAWA), which is a leader in social work, has completed preparations for a special program for differently-abled children on Friday.
According to organizers, a special program will be held at the Army Officers Club in favor of the day school that will be constructed for such youngsters, and all preparations have been completed.
The program will feature performances by a number of well-known artists. The organizer reported that all of the tickets for the event had been sold.
There will be a performance by Manoj Gajurel, who is considered to be the leader of stand up comedy.
The program in support of the ‘Bardan Farak Chhyamata Diwa Bidhyalaya’ has been thoroughly prepared in the Tribhuvan Army Officers Club’s Assembly Mandap Hall at Army Headquarters in Jangi Adda.
‘Bardan Sur-Sandhya’ is the name of the show. The show will also feature performances by well-known actors Pradeep Khadka and actress Swastima Khadka. Karishma Manandhar, an actress, will also appear in the show.
In collaboration with Pradhan Livens Studio, NAWA will organize a program with the tagline “service is the ultimate religion, service is the ultimate devotion.” The show is directed by Alish Karki.
NAWA has formerly provided a variety of social services. NAWA also provided funding from the program that brought Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha to Nepal to the integrated settlement.
NAWA has stated that it has been collecting cash for social services and distributing them to numerous groups involved in a variety of disciplines.
1.4 lakh rupees was transferred for the construction of Giranchaur integrated settlement.
